People attend a vigil at the University of Nevada,after a gunman killed at least 59 people and wounded more than 500 others when he opened fire on a concert on the Las Vegas strip.

Dozens of people were killed and hundreds injured when a gunman opened fire at a country music festival in Las Vegas. A shooter near Mandalay Bay Casino opened fire on the Route 91 Harvest Festival. Killing 50 and injuring 200 people.

At least 1,000 people attended a candlelight vigil Thursday night for the 17 people killed in a school shooting in Parkland, Florida. No words could sum up the emotion throughout the crowd. CBS Miami's Amber Diaz reports.

Eleven people were killed Saturday morning in a deadly shooting inside a Pittsburgh synagogue. The victims were remembered at a vigil in Pittsburgh Sunday night and at events across Canada.
