Ex-Beatle Paul McCartney was honored on Friday, February 10, 2012 when he received the MusiCares' 2012 Person of the Year award at a star-studded ceremony hosted by Grammy organizers ahead of this weekend's major music awards.

Adele made her long-awaited comeback by winning six Grammy Awards and becoming the biggest winner dedicating one of the prizes to the doctors who saved her voice. On a night overshadowed by the death of Whitney Houston, 23-year-old Londoner Adele picked up all the prizes for which she was nominated on the strength of her steamroller success for album 21, and declared: "Girl did good."
