Forty-five years ago, at 11:56 p.m. ET on July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong became the first man to set foot on the moon. He said, "That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind," and along with astronaut teammates Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin and Michael Collins, they helped change human history.

Through television, motion picture and still photography, this film provides an "eye-witness" perspective of the Apollo 11 mission that put a human on the moon.
