Thousands of metres up the vertiginous slopes of Shifou Mountain in Hunan Province, China, a team of workers, operating with hardly any safety measures, are building a footpath.
The workers are building a plank road on the side of the mountain that, once it is finished, it will stretch for 3km 9,843 ft (3Km) and be China's longest sightseeing footpath.
At the beginning of the computer era, people died with passwords in their heads and no one could access their files. When access to these files was critical, companies could grind to a halt. That's when programmers invented death switches.
With a death switch, the computer prompts you for your password once a week to make sure you are still alive. When you don't enter your password for some period of time, the computer deduces you are dead, and your passwords are automatically e-mailed to the second-in-command.
If it's just an electric car with a motor, chassis and wheels, one would rather stick to the existing gas-guzzling four-wheeler. And this is where the EVE concept steps in. Apparently, the panels (almost enveloping the car) change their color, based on your mood. When the wheels roll, the friction generated triggers a reaction with the polymer material of the panel, thus leading to a change of color. 
The EVE Concept is a passanger car that runs on both electric and solar power. The windshield carries a coating for solar energy, while the electric serves as the primary power option.
The almost magical transformation from a street vehicle into a floating and ‘flying’ all-rounder is made possible by an electronically controlled hydraulic system with an array of sophisticated sensors.
