Awesome beauty aside, "Sexual Explosion" has finally secured its place in Modern Contemporary Art History along with the other world-famous nudes of Picasso, Dali and Modigliani. Jim Warren's "Sexual Explosion" phenomena has influenced a whole new generation of surreal artists portraying the nude image. Because of "Sexual Explosion's" daring visuals and sensuous seduction and its liberating mystical imagery, the Warren masterpiece has achieved international respect and praise at last.

In spite of the fact that the controversial painting was once banned from public exhibition for being "obscene and sexually explicit," has never been viewed in public, has never been published with limited edition art prints, and has been veiled in mystery and secretly sequestered in an unknown private art collection for decades --- it has nevertheless submmited to its destined glory.

Warren's 1990 painting "Earth, Love It or Lose It" (seen above) was featured on posters, magazines, billboards, and T-shirts; and became an iconic visual representation of the global environmental movement. The early 90s were a time for environmental awareness. Originally, the painting was named oops and featured a little girl standing on an image of the world that was also a balloon. The balloon had opened at the tie and looked to be whisking across the sky. The little girl was Jim's niece Cristin and had been painted from a photo he had taken when she was about 2-years old looking at a bug. This was made into a poster and became the 1990 Earth Day poster for the State of Nevada.

His portrait of John Stamos was unveiled at the Fame-Wall NYC in 2009; his portraits of Kristen Chenoweth and Sean Hayes (both in Promises, Promises on Broadway) was unveiled at the Fame-Wall NYC in 2010.
