The story is based on the investigation of former Deputy Coroner Lionel Grandison, who was coerced into signing her death certificate in 1962. Grandison, who was 22 years old at the time, became the youngest African American Deputy Coroner for the County of Los Angeles. He presents compelling information about the cover-up of her death, including the disappearance of her diary, which he read and booked into the Coroner's possession. Grandison has written a new tell all book, scheduled for release in 2012. BC Worldwide has now acquired the film rights for this amazing story.
