The Bonnet House is located in the heart of Ft. Lauderdale Beach and it's a beautiful enclave dating the early 1900's. The Bonnet House was built in several stages and was owned by a Chicago eclectic artist and art collector family who later on inherited the property to the Florida Trust who make this beautiful jewel a cool place for tourist to visit while in South Florida. LJB and MG visited the complex on June 2, 2012 and this video captures and depicts their experience. Enjoy!

They will not hesitate to swoop down and take a potato chip right out of your hand. You can find Florida's beautiful seabirds on any beach or bay shoreline, or in and around mangrove trees, seawalls and piers. Laughing gulls, so named because their call sounds like a laugh, are easily identified by their black head and red bill. Herring gulls are much larger, with a white head. The small ring-billed gull has a black ring around its yellow bill. They all tend to intermingle. Community of Lights (COFL.CO) captured a daring small ring-billed gull at Dania Beach, Florida diving over and over again in the beautiful warm ocean during a gorgeous spring day in 2012.
