Dale Chihuly has been creating major Glass Blown exhibitions in major parks and venues across the country. He has major exhibits abroad including Jerusalem, Israel and Venice, Italy. Community of Lights had the opportunity to visit his exhibit at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden in Miami, Florida. The contrast between the natural and the glass blown art and how they complement each other in a magical combination is evident in this short video. His work is included in more than 200 hundred museum collections worldwide. He has been the recipient of many awards, including eleven honorary doctorates and two fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts.
