The study is run by Ambrosia, a company based in Monterey, Calif.

The firm's technology is based on the use of optical vision systems with motion detection algorithms, unlike many other systems which use a combination of visual detection, radar, and laser scanning. The firm's vehicle detection algorithms recognize motorised vehicles such as cars, motorcycles and trucks, in day and night time conditions. The iPhone 7 will continue to lay the groundwork for the major iPhone redesign expected for the near future, including the iPhone 8 targeted for 2017.  Removing the headphone jack and the physical home buttons are two of the steps Apple is taking towards the iPhone of the future, a device that may have a glass-only housing and a wraparound display. Such an iPhone model could also lack any physical buttons, and offer even better waterproofing than the iPhone 7.
