The Golden Globes 2019 will include a new award, a TV equivalent of the Cecil B. Mille Award that the HFPA hands out for film. It will honor "TV's biggest names and brightest talents," she said, noting that recipients will be selected based on their accomplishments and the impact and influence of their career. Noting that it is the first special achievement award to be created by the HFPA since the DeMille honor was first given in 1952. The honoree will be revealed soon.
